Mike Golden Signs National Letter of Intent to Play for University of Hawaii at Hilo

Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College sophomore Mike Golden has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.

Golden, a 6'1" guard from Brick, NJ, averaged 19.7 points per game in his second and final season at Ocean County College, and was named 1st team All-Region XIX as well as All-Garden State Athletic Conference. He reached a milestone of 1,000 points in his collegiate career in a 99-90 Vikings victory against Atlantic Cape on February 21, and scored 110 three-point shots (39.6% avg.).

"I look forward to helping the Vulcans this coming season and being a part of something special," said Golden.

The staff of Ocean County College would like to congratulate Mike, and wish him much success both on and off the court at the University of Hawaii.
