Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College sophomore Doug Jensen scored two goals (29th min, assisted by Ryan Cheslock, who leads the team with 9, and 57th min assisted by Youssef Abdelaziz) as the Vikings (8-7) fell to the top-ranked Cougars of Camden County College, 4-2. Jensen, who was recently named Garden State Athletic Conference Player of the Week, now has 18 goals and 7 assists on the season, which places him 4th in the nation in goals, and 5th in total points, with 43. The Vikings were dominant in their command of the match, powered by Jensen up top and Cheslock in the central midfield. The Cougars, however, regrouped and battled back from the 2-goal deficit, equalizing in the match's 69th minute before taking the lead for good in the 81st.
The Vikings complete their regular season schedule on Tuesday, October 17 when they host conference rival Brookdale Community College at 4 p.m.
