Jackson French Falls in NJCAAe Smash Semifinals to Bryant Stratton College, 3-2

Toms River, NJ - After blazing a path of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate destruction in the form of 13 consecutive victories, the season-long undefeated streak of OCC Esports' Jackson French came to an end on Tuesday (December 7), when he was defeated 3-2 by Bryant Stratton College in the semifinal round of the NJCAAe Championship tournament.
"It came down to the last second of a super close match," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "You can check it out on our Twitch channel (available here). Jackson finished a great year on a heartbreaker, but I know he will be back better than he was this season, next season. I can't wait to see what Jackson does in the spring."
Congratulations to Jackson for a remarkable Fall 2021 season, one in which he finished with a record of 13-1.
