OCC Esports Begins Spring 2022 Overwatch Season

Toms River, NJ - OCC Esports kicked off their Spring 2022 Overwatch season with a tough 3-0 loss to Northwestern Michigan College.
Operating as a team for the first time, the Vikings' 6-person squad (Jackson French, Justin Ritter, Matthew Andrews, Michael Gallow, Nicholas Bushell, and Reed Russell) learned on the fly how best to work together, and will put the experience to use going forward.
"Opening night was a tough loss while working out some growing pains," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "We've added three new players this season, but the team is doing a great job getting together and practicing improving their communication during gameplay. I'm confident that this is a learning experience, and that we'll use this setback to continue to have a great season."
