French, Ritter with Wins as OCC Esports Smashes Through Week 7
Toms River, NJ - Jackson French remained undefeated after a raucous week 7 of OCC Esports' Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The team captain shut out Alexandria Community College, 3-0, while teammate Justin Ritter defeated Pennsylvania Highlands Community College by the same 3-0 margin as the team marches toward the postseason.
"Justin improved his chances of making the playoffs heading into next week's bye," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "Conner lost another tough one (Conner Zaccagna lost to Calhoun Community College, 3-0). He had a great opening season, but has been put against some stiff competition in his second semester. Conner will need a little help to make the playoffs, but he will get to play spoiler to anyone who is on the edge of making them. Jackson tried out a new character and continued to roll through the regular season. We are closing in on the end of the season. I expect Jackson to make another long run into the postseason. Hopefully, one or two more Vikings are able to join him."
