OCC Esports Wraps Up Regular Season, Looks Ahead to Playoffs
Toms River, NJ - OCC Esports wrapped their regular season tonight (Nov. 19), securing postseason bids for the Vikings' Rocket League squad, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players Jackson French and Conner Zaccagna.
Ocean's Rocket League team, consisting of Joshua Schiele, Nickolas Trindle, and Brandon Carman, are tentatively scheduled to face Johnston Community College at 8 P.M. on Monday, November 29 in their first postseason match. Jackson French completed the season undefeated in Smash play, which marked the 2nd straight season that he has accomplished this feat. Jackson is currently scheduled to take on Utah State University Eastern on Tuesday, November 30 at 7 P.M., with Conner battling Fort Scott Community College concurrently. "Both Jackson and Conner are elite players," remarked OCC Esports Head Coach John Ruhl. "Hopefully we can get an all-OCC final!"
