Men's Basketball's Win Streak Stopped at 3 in 80-76 Loss to UCNJ

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball's unbeaten streak was stopped at 3 games following an 80-76 loss to Union College of NJ on Thursday (1/15).

Five Ocean players scored in double figures, with two earning double-doubles, as the Vikings battled the national #8 Owls through an action-packed 40 minutes. Union established an early lead and held it for most of the matchup, though Ocean threatened in the last minute. With UCNJ leading 76-70 with 31 seconds left, Kai Barckley (Pine Beach, NJ/Toms River South H.S.) sank a 3-pointer to pull Ocean within 3, and Myles Marabuto (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township H.S.) hit another 3-pointer with just 3 seconds on the clock to draw the Vikings within a point, at 77-76, but it was simply too late.
