Bio

Coach Stockton is a Toms River High School East graduate who began his collegiate basketball-playing career at Ocean County College, where he received All-Conference and All-Region honors, along with being named an Academic All-American. Upon graduating from OCC, he was recruited by The College of New Jersey, where he received a degree in Exercise Science.

While playing in college, Stockton also coached AAU basketball for the Ocean County Wolfpack (Ages 12-18). During that time he received certifications as a personal trainer, sports nutritionalist, and strength and conditioning coach. He used these certifications to train athletes at The Baker League Arena in overall basketball skill training as well as speed, strength, and conditioning. He then began assistant coaching varsity basketball at Toms River High School North. After coaching at Toms River North, he was hired to assistant coach at Ocean County College, and did so for two seasons (2014-15).

“Through my experiences at Ocean County College I understand the struggle the student-athletes go through at the JUCO level,” said Stockton. “I believe it is my mission to help improve our student-athlete’s abilities both on and off the court.  It is my pleasure to help these young men to accomplish their dreams of playing basketball at the next level. I will do everything in my power to make that dream a reality.”
