Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College's men's soccer team earned their 7th win of the season in a 4-3 road win at Middlesex College on Saturday (10/4).
Ocean opened scoring early, with Josh Brazier delivering a ball across the Middlesex defense to Julian Marfino, who finished it past the GK to give the Vikings the lead in the 2nd minute.
Chase Norling expanded the Viking lead in the 14th minute with a 35-yard laser deposited top shelf to give Ocean the 2-0 lead, while Jefferson Rubi Cruz added another with an assist from Josh Brazier in the 24th min.
After Middlesex responded with 2 goals, Julian Marfino answered with a goal in the 51st with an assist from Brazier, his 3rd of the game. Justin Perrin recorded 7 saves, including 3 outstanding stops in the 2nd half to lock in the win for the Vikings.
Ocean returns to action on Tuesday, October 7, when they host Bergen CC at 4pm.
