Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball slid to an overall record of 0-4 on Thursday (11/20) following a punishing 101-38 loss at RCSJ Gloucester.
The Vikings' tandem of Brooke Schmidt (Lacey, NJ/Lacey Twp. H.S.) and Lola Darcy (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Boro H.S.) continued to do the proverbial heavy lifting offensively, with Schmidt scoring 20 points with 12 rebounds, and Darcy 10 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals. OCC guard Alyssa Padilla (Bayville, NJ/Central Regional H.S.) posted her strongest performance of the season, with 8 points and 4 boards, while forward Marian Moore (Avalon, NJ/Belmar H.S.) led the team with 4 steals in this loss.
The Vikings will next take the court this Saturday, November 22, when they travel to Community College of Philadelphia for a 12pm matchup versus the Lions.
