Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Women's Basketball completed their regular season sweep of Sussex County CC with a 77-73 home win on Monday (2/9).

Three Ocean players earned double-doubles in this exciting come-from-behind win, with Lola Darcy (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Boro H.S.) leading the charge with 30 points and 10 rebounds, Brooke Schmidt (Lacey, NJ/Lacey Township H.S.) 15 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals, and Tatiana Hernandez (Farmingdale, NJ/Howell H.S.) 12 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Roaring back from as many as 13 points behind, the Vikings capitalized under the basket, with D'Anna Capriotti (Tuckerton, NJ/Pinelands Regional H.S.) and Regan Ottinger (Brick, NJ/Wall H.S.) combining for 20 of the team's 51 total rebounds, creating crucial scoring opportunities.

OCC Women's Basketball improves to 5-15 overall, and next travels to Brookdale CC for their final game of the regular season this Thursday, February 12 at 5pm.
