Ocean sophomore midfielder Marquella Boutsikaris converted a pass from freshman Alyssa Duff in the match's 29th minute to open Viking scoring, and sophomore goalkeeper Holly Applegate kept the proverbial door shut with 8 stops to secure the win in what was a battle for 90 minutes.
The Vikings return to action on Tuesday, September 12, when they travel to Camden County College for a 4 P.M. Region 19 matchup against the Cougars.
