Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Soccer earned their 2nd shutout of the season following a 5-0 win versus Atlantic Cape CC on Saturday (9/20).
Faced with a Cape team that at times fielded no more than 7 players, the Vikings were able to control the match from the outset, peppering the Buccaneers with shots. OCC freshman forward Alison Serrano was unstoppable, scoring 3 straight goals in the 1st half, before adding her 4th in the 50th minute to close out the match's scoring. Leilani Borges scored a goal and assisted on Serrano's 3rd goal, while Angelina DeCesare assisted on goals by Borges and Serrano.
The Vikings will return to action on Tuesday, September 23, when they travel to Brookdale CC for a 4pm match against the top-ranked Jersey Blues.
