Toms River, NJ - The 2025 season marks a new era for OCC Women's Volleyball, with a new coaching staff, and a full roster of first-year Vikings on the court. The program made a potent first impression in their season opener on Wednesday (9/17), defeating Region rival Raritan Valley CC, 3-1 on the Lions' home court.

The dual threat of Ocean freshmen Macayla Lindner and Bryn Hagen were explosive in this match, leading team scoring with 17.5 and 17 respective points and 14 kills each, as the Vikings logged set scores of 12-25, 25-22, 25-18, and 25-21.

The Vikings have faced Raritan Valley in the postseason for three consecutive seasons. Will history repeat itself? Time will tell. OCC Women's Volleyball returns to the court for their 2nd match of the season this Friday, September 19, when they host Community College of Philadelphia at 6pm.
