Women's Volleyball Wins 4th Straight in 3-0 Shutout of Atlantic Cape CC
Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Volleyball won their 4th straight match to begin the 2025 season following a 3-0 shutout of the visiting Atlantic Cape CC Buccaneers on Monday (9/29).
Save for a brief moment in the 2nd set, this was a match that Ocean controlled from start to finish, with freshman outside hitter Bryn Hagen blasting the Bucs with 16 points and 11 kills, and libero Liliana Davis supporting defensively with a team-leading 9 digs. Ocean freshman outside hitter Macayla Lindner continued her strong all-around play this season, with 11 points, 9 kills, and 6 digs in the winning effort.
"We defeated a very resilient Atlantic Cape squad tonight," remarked OCC Women's Volleyball Head Coach Dan Torsiello. "Great to start 4-0 this season, while also identifying areas in need of improvement."
