Vikings Fall to Buccaneers, 83-79

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball lost their 5th straight game in an 83-79 home loss to Atlantic Cape CC on Tuesday (12/3). 

Ocean freshman guard Kai Barckley had a breakout performance tonight, scoring a season-best 21 points and grabbing 2 steals in the loss, while freshmen guards Dylan Csik (13 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists) and Myles Marabuto (12 points, 3 steals) also made their collective presence felt in a game that saw the Vikings and Bucs trading 1 and 2 point leads through much of the 2nd half.

"Tough home loss," recounted OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "Too many empty possessions late in the game. Kai Barkley and Dekari Harrell were both major contributors. We'll be looking to bounce back on Saturday."

The Vikings return to their home court on Saturday, December 7, when they host Harrisburg Area CC at 12 P.M.
