Vikings Men's Hoops Rumbles Past Cumberland, Wins 5th Straight

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball extended their win streak to 5 games following a 90-67 defeat of RCSJ Cumberland Saturday (2/8). The red hot Vikings have been nearly unbeatable in the new year, winning 9 of their 10 games since the start of 2025. 

The strength of Ocean's deep reserves continues to reap benefits, with freshman guard Jeremy Grospe leading the charge today with 18 points and 4 rebounds, and freshman forward Evan Weiner contributing 10 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in his 10 minutes of action. Ocean freshman guard Myles Marabuto continued his impressive play of late, with a 12-point, 4-assist outing as the Vikings dominated the Dukes for the 2nd time this season, sweeping their series. 

The Vikings sit at 14-7 overall with 3 games remaining in the regular season, and return to action on Thursday, February 13, when they host Delaware County CC for a 7 P.M. Region 19 matchup.
