Toms River, NJ - Ocean CC Men's Basketball fell to Salem CC on Tuesday (11/18) by a final score of 113-90. The loss marked the 2nd straight for the Vikings, both against nationally-ranked opponents.
OCC sophomore guard Jamari Smith (Barnegat, NJ / Barnegat H.S.) led the Vikings with a 22-point night, along with 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Smith, who scored 32 points in Ocean's previous game versus Northampton CC, is now averaging a team-leading 21.4 PPG. Freshman guard AJ Lemons (Columbia, SC / Pemberton Township H.S.) contributed 18 points in the loss as well, and has been a double digit scorer in all five of Ocean's games thus far.
OCC Men's Basketball will next travel to RCSJ Gloucester this Thursday, November 20, for a 7pm matchup against the Roadrunners.
