Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Soccer improved to an overall record of 3-0-1 to start the 2025 season following a blistering 8-0 shutout of the visiting Titans of County College of Morris on September 16.
The goals arrived fast and furiously in this one, with Ocean sophomore Julian Marfino landing the first salvo in the match's 2nd minute, and Adal Garcia, Jack Eubanks, and Cristian Gonzalez Sanchez bolstering the lead to 4-0 to end the half.
The Vikings remained potent in the second half, as Ocean freshman Patrick Schlagenhaft scored twice in a row, in the 61st and 76th minutes, before Jefferson Rubi Cruz and Josh Brazier added contributions to the back of the net in the rout. Brazier logged a goal and 3 assists in the match, and is currently ranked 14th in the nation with 13 points (5 goals, 3 assists) this season.
Ocean goalkeeper Justin Perrin made 3 stops on the day, and earned his 2nd shutout win of this season.
The Vikings return to action this Saturday, September 20, when they host the Lions of Raritan Valley CC at 11am.
