Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Men's Soccer continues to dominate, as the Vikings extend their unbeaten streak to 4 matches following a 3-0 shutout at Sussex County CC on Tuesday (9/30).
Ocean broke this match open early, when Patrick Schlagenhaft volleyed a shot home with authority in the 2nd minute (assisted by Adal Garcia). Josh Brazier would then pad the 1-0 lead just before the half in the 42 min, slotting a shot near-post past Sussex goalkeeper Dylan Considine, with an assist from Jefferson Rubi Cruz.
The Skylanders held the Vikings at bay until captain center back Jack Eubanks took matters into his own hands getting involved in the attack, delivering a ball wide to Julian Marfino and receiving the return pass from him before firing a blistering shot from outside the 18 box to finish off the scoring at 3-0.
Ocean sophomore goaltender Justin Perrin recorded 6 saves on the day en route to locking in his 3rd shutout of the season.
The Vikings will next travel to Middlesex College to face the Colts on Saturday, October 4 at 12pm.
